Location based service Foursquare, has launched a new feature called Radar that enables users to easily discover places of potential interest based on Foursquare lists, for example, Cool Cheltenham Coffee Shops and tips left by other users. The feature is only currently available on iOS 5-based iPhones and sends you push notifications based on your existing likes and dislikes. This is a massive improvement on random tips that are currently displayed so you receive information you on places you are interested in or want to visit. Android owners might have to wait a while before they can benefit from Radar but it is on Foursquare’s roadmap.
