For some time I’ve been a fan of scheduling social network updates which can be done using a tool like Buffer – view video on how to do this – or Hoot Suite.
Facebook have now seen the value in timing posts to go out at some point in future and have added a scheduling feature for Facebook Pages. although it’s not yet been rolled out to all Pages. This new feature can help you maximise your audience as different people will catch your updates as they go out during the course of a day.
Using scheduling also helps your organise the time you allocate to your social networking. For example, you can spend half an hour in the morning posting your updates for the whole day and then just dip in and out to check your Facebook Page during the day. You can in fact schedule updates up to 6 months in advance.
If you’re a Page Admin you can schedule a post by click the clock icon and choose the date and time when you want the update to be published.
