LinkedIn Profile revamp -Premium Members on LinkedIn are the first to see a new style profile. In line with the trend started by Google+, there’s now a large image at the top that LinkedIn have called a Background Image and the profile picture is bigger. These will be launched in due course across the network. If you want to be one of the first to try you can join the waiting list. Premium Members benefit from new features to help you be found more easily including suggested keywords for your Summary.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pinterest promoted pins getting closer – Pinterest‘s advertising offering, promoted pins, is being rolled out to a larger number of businesses although everyone will have to wait a little while longer before their self-service platform becomes universally available.

Pinterest Analytics set for revamp – One advantage of a Pinterest Business account is access to Analytics and more data will be available soon. This will include a new ‘Top Pins’ section which will show which images and videos are driving the most impressions, clicks and repins.

New Facebook Page design everywhere this FridayFacebook will roll out its new design to everyone this Friday, even if you haven’t yet opted in. So all Facebook Pages will have the same new look on Saturday morning. The main changes are: new single column Newsfeed on right, profile photo sits higher in cover photo, About and Apps now in left-hand column, easier access to settings and a Pages to Watch feature – read How to set up and use Pages to Watch.

Instagram has a new interface and editing toolsInstagram has updated its look and feel and now includes a huge array of editing tools. Click the new wrench icon for access to new Straighten, Brightness, Contrast, Warmth, Saturation, Highlights, Shadows, Vignette, Tilt Shift and Sharpen effects.
