Having previously featured as ‘bad social media’ I’m delighted to highlight Gloucester County Council’s Twitter account @gloscc as ‘good social media’. The automatic news feed is long gone and in it’s place is conversation, asking and answering of questions, regular updating, posting of useful info and promotion of engaging activities like Takeover Day.

Unfortunately, the same can’t be said of the Gloucester County Council Facebook Page which continues to be populated with an automatic feed and has zero engagement and conversation and numerical URL. The Page has 98 fans which using the Council’s own population figure of 582,581 represents 0.016% of the County population.
