Here’s a screen shot of the first time Twitter has live streamed a sporting event – their coverage of Wimbledon 2016. It makes it easier for fans to engage with stars and fans as tweets are displayed alongside the feed. Expect Thursday night NFL football and more sports soon. It’s rumoured that Twitter are arranging a deal with the NBA (basketball) and MLS (soccer) in the States.
